After the hard work of the wedding shoot itself is over, the tedious (but sometimes revelatory) work of photo editing begins. While there’s plenty of grunt work – checking focus, smoothing noise out, color balancing & matching (two cameras), burning & dodging – occasionally when you “push” an image around a bit you get smacked in the forehead with something amazing.

Here’s a quick sample from our latest shoot. I chose this image because it demonstrates for me just how good Kristi is, and what a fine partner she makes in our endeavors.
